Cherry sauce, Rie's Originale

Rie's Original Cherry Sauce is made from Danish cherries using both juice and whole cherries. Our vanilla is a fantastic, fully ripe Norire Fendue vanilla grown in Madagascar, from Mette Ravn Vanilje. 

The cherry sauce tastes like what it should taste like; cherries. The dark color testifies to a high cherry percentage (76%). The cherry sauce is of course sweet, but also just a little sour, because it goes well with the sweet risalamande.

Use it for ricepudding (risalamande) or as topping on a cheesecake, waffles or in cardamum buns. Find recipes and inspiration on this site.
