I have used this recipe for granola for nearly 20 years. It is simply so good and easy to make.
You can store it for a month in an airtight container. It's also a good friend/neighbor gift - a jar with homemade granola? I think everyone would be happy to receive that.
You can use what you have. It is not so important whether the almonds are chopped or split. A little less of something and a little more of something else. This granola tastes good regardless. You can also add chopped dark chocolate.
